FAQs
Got questions about making an appointment?
Can I book a phone appointment?
How long are standard appointments?
What happens if I am running late or need to cancel my appointment?
If you are running late or need to cancel, please notify us as soon as possible. Missed appointments without sufficient notice may incur a fee. If you arrive very late, we may need to reschedule your appointment.
Can I see the same doctor for every visit?
While our doctors work part-time, you can usually see your preferred doctor by booking in advance. For details about doctor availability, visit the “Our Team > Doctors” section of our website.
What information should I provide when booking an appointment?
Please inform the reception team if your appointment is for a specific purpose, such as ACC, insurance medicals, or contraception, so it can be scheduled appropriately.
How far in advance should I book for long-term or non-urgent medical issues?
We recommend booking 1–2 weeks in advance, though wait times may extend to 4 weeks during busy periods. Booking your next appointment before leaving the clinic can help secure your preferred time.
Do you offer urgent appointments?
Yes, call and a nurse or doctor will assess your situation over the phone and arrange an appointment if needed. For cold or flu-like symptoms, please remain in your car and call us upon arrival.
Can I bring a support person with me to an appointment with a Doctor or a Nurse?
You are welcome to bring a chaperone or support person with you to your consultation. If you would like a staff member to act as your chaperone during a consultation or procedure, please let reception know at the time of booking your appointment.
Am I able to have an Interpreter?
We can arrange an interpreter for you when you book your appointment. Your appointment will be 30 minutes instead of 15 minutes.
What if I wish to make a complaint?
We have a Complaints Policy – you have a choice if you wish to make a verbal complaint or a written complaint. Please see our Complaints procedure.
